Eli’s current focus is to consult with owners, developers, and investors to analyze investment properties for sale, as well as provide a capital markets solution for Velocity Retail’s clients.
As the former EVP and Principal of The Aspen Group, a prominent development company, Eli secured over $500MM in debt and equity financing for retail, office, residential, multi-family, and master planned community land. During his career he has been involved in acquiring, entitling, developing, leasing and selling over 30 projects exceeding $1 Billion in transaction value. His retail segment activities ran the gamut across grocery, power and lifestyle centers, to pharmacy anchored and free-standing retail projects. His experience spans several real estate cycles and provides insight and foresight to all levels of retail transactions.
A graduate of Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, where he earned a B.A. in Accounting and Finance, Castronova brings valuable corporate and real estate financing experience from having worked earlier in his career as a Credit Analyst & Account Associate in the Commercial Financing Division at Wells Fargo Bank based in Southern, California and later as a Senior Vice President at Land Advisors Capital, one of the largest land brokerage advisory firms in the United States. Eli is a 30-year veteran of the finance and real estate industries.
