We are looking for a dynamic finance / accounting associate to manage our commercial real estate office’s financial processes. To ensure success in this role, you should possess financial acumen and attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-notch accounting associate can process a high volume of finance related data swiftly and accurately. This is a full time, in office, salaried position. Our office is located at Camelback Road and 24th Street in the Esplanade office complex.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proficient with Accounting – A/R, A/P, invoicing, data entry, reconciliations, familiar with GLs and PLs
  • Position will manage multiple entities in both QuickBooks Online and Desktop versions
  • Depositing and entering commissions for each transaction in Quickbooks
  • Entering receivables in Quickbooks
  • Processing payables for the office and various real estate projects
  • Auditing monthly expenses in Quickbooks
  • Responsible for month end reconciliation of multiple checking accounts
  • Monthly reports/graphs/charts – prepare and analyze results (advanced Excel skills necessary)
  • Manage credit card expenses and coding in Quickbooks
  • Entering payroll ACHs
  • Run Revenue by Producer Reports
  • Month end journal entries
  • Report preparation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet creation
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Prepare and work with proformas to analyze new projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-5 years in a face paced accounting position
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel (assessment required)
  • Experience utilizing both QuickBooks Online and Desktop versions
  • Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment
  • Effective at multi-tasking in a fast-paced and professional work environment
