THE OPPORTUNITY
Working directly with one of our co-owners, the Commercial Real Estate Assistant will operate within our high producing, fast paced, commercial real estate team providing timely and high-quality service to clients by overseeing multiple steps in the real estate process. This position will be proactively executing client requests, calendar and travel functions, and performing work for the company’s top retail clients.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients via verbal, written and electronic updates and reports.
- Will be accountable for email management, real estate related opportunity/problem analysis, action/solution strategies, and participate in developing and delivering reports and recommendations to clients.
- Create presentations for the client’s real estate committee and senior executives.
- Prepare documents relating to transactions, including letters of intent, commission agreements, amendments, and work agreements, as well as maintaining the deal tracking database and deal files, and managing the deal process to completion.
- Research and gather data relating to comparable sales, news articles, prospective site brochures and details, general research as required.
- Coordinate projects with internal mapping, research, and marketing to create world class materials.
- Compose/type general and confidential correspondence, copy & assemble documents, correspondence and other material into final form.
- Maintain and manage accurate calendars and coordinate various team member’s requests.
- Coordinate travel for co-owner, including air, hotel, car. Comparing costs and providing economical solutions as required.
- Answer phones and respond to requests as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required (will consider equivalent experience).
- 2-5 years commercial real estate brokerage experience.
- 60 – 70 wpm typing skills – with a thorough knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
- Very detail oriented with excellent communication & relationship management skills.
- Work proactively under deadlines, interact effectively with all levels of the organization & display a team-player attitude.
- Effective at prioritizing multi-tasks in a fast-paced & professional work environment.
- Active Arizona real estate license in good standing.
