Joe Hoye

Joseph Hoye II is a Vice President at Velocity Retail Group’s Phoenix office, having joined the firm in 2025. With over 18 years of experience in retail real estate, Joseph specializes in both landlord and tenant representation, bringing a wealth of expertise to his role.

Before joining Velocity Retail Group, Joseph honed his skills at Newmark, a national real estate services firm, where he spent more than a decade representing institutional and private landlords in the leasing and sale of retail properties. Prior to his time at Newmark, he served as Regional Leasing Director for the Southwest at Westwood Financial Corp., overseeing leasing efforts for a diverse portfolio of retail assets. From 2007 to 2012, Joseph worked in brokerage, first at Cowen Commercial—a boutique retail firm—and later at Cushman & Wakefield, following their acquisition of Cowen Commercial in 2010.

Over the course of his career, Joseph has successfully represented numerous power centers, grocery-anchored centers, and retail tenants. He has expanded portfolios to include more than 40 shopping center listings and worked with select high-profile tenants. His deep industry knowledge, strategic approach, and client-first mentality make him a valuable resource for Velocity Retail Group’s clients.
