Associate Account Manager
POSITION BRIEF
Based in Phoenix Arizona, this position will manage the transaction process for the leasing and purchasing of retail commercial real estate properties for landlord and tenant clients. This is a salaried + bonus position that will utilize teaming and technology to increase deal volume and minimize transaction time to provide the highest level of service for our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage account transaction activity related to leases, acquisitions and dispositions
- Initiate deal making activities by working with approved market plans
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients via verbal, written and electronic updates and reports
- Effectively communicate client updates to Team Leader and provide closure daily
- Assists and manages the creation of REC packages, presentations and tour books
- Attend property tours for prospective clients
- Compile property data for clients, such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, status updates, and necessary presentations
- Prepare documents relating to transactions, including letters of intent, commission agreements, amendments and work agreements, as well as maintaining the deal tracking database and deal files, and managing the deal process to completion
- Grow knowledge of market conditions, property values, and legislation that may affect the real estate industry
- Ensure transaction activity is accurately reflected in prospecting and revenue forecasting system
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or direct transaction experience
- Ability to utilize technology to increase the speed of transactions
- Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment
- Manage deals through all stages from cold-calling, to negotiation, to final agreements
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Excellent computer skills including spreadsheet and database applications
- Effective at multi-tasking in a fast-paced and professional work environment
- Arizona real estate license in good standing
