Velocity Retail Group’s, Dave Cheatham, Darren Pitts, and Bonnie Arlia represent Buc-ee’s in Arizona. The team has worked with the executives from Buc-ee’s for several years identifying the ideal sites for their expansion into the West. The parent company of Buc-ee’s has recently closed escrow on over 22 acres at the southeast corner of Bullard Avenue and Interstate 10 in Goodyear. The seller is 19th Avenue LLC and Bullard II Properties I LLC. The planned store will be over 75,400 square feet, with 120 gas pumps.
“We are excited to be the team behind the real estate team for Buc-ee’s. It was over four years ago we were asked to analyze the market for their potential expansion,” said Dave Cheatham, President of Velocity Retail Group. “Our first site is perfectly situated along Interstate 10, capturing not only travelers to and from California, but those going through Arizona headed east. We are actively researching other areas throughout the state for Buc-ee’s further expansion,” he added.
